HEARTSTRINGS 2022 PHOTO BOOTH GALLERY
The Heart Gallery of Pinellas and Pasco is a program of Gulf Coast JFCS that connects children in foster care with their forever families through adoption. In addition to featuring children, they recruit and support families interested in adoption. Since the Heart Gallery of Pinellas & Pasco was created in 2006, it has helped find nearly 400 adoptive families for waiting children.
This year, there was a Fishy Face Photography photo booth to help spread the reach of their mission. Photo booths bring a child-like level of uninhibited fun and collaboration. Each photo strip gives the guest(s) 3 consecutive photos. Creating each of 3 poses triggers a fun part of our brains. The photos capture both un-posed and posed real smiles. The outtakes can be just as fun because once the timer starts counting down, there is not much time to position yourself in the frame. The memory is captured! Real smiles are guaranteed.

What to do with your photo booth photos?
These silly photo booth strips can be airdropped and shared between friends, posted anywhere, and even printed for mailing with thank you notes and refrigerator doors. We recommend sharing on your social platforms and tagging the Heart Gallery of Pinellas and Pasco along with your experience! Use the hashtag #adoptionbearhugs too! Personal stories illustrated with real life photos are the reason we love social media. This spreads more awareness for the evening’s wonderful cause of helping supporting families with adoption organically and in the most fun and easy way!
HOW HEARTSTRINGS CHANGES LIVES
Heartstrings is the primary fundraising event for the Heart Gallery program which, in turn, fuels the needed marketing and educational outreach to support children being matched with their forever families.
It’s one evening of fun, inspiration, and generosity translating into year-round tireless devotion to finding adoptive families for some of the hardest to place children in foster care. Through your support, we’ll:
Expand visibility and awareness of local children awaiting adoption
Educate those interested in learning more about adoption
Guide prospective adoptive parents through the adoption process
Help to successfully match children with adoptive families
Provide foster children the opportunity to celebrate birthdays, holidays, and other life milestones.

November is National Adoption month, and we’re so glad you kicked off this month with us at the Heartstrings event! Remember to share photos with your new bear! Teddy Bears are a special symbol in the foster child adoption world. They represent finding a “forever family” as often at the adoption finalization hearing, the judge presents the newly adopted child with a cuddly “Bear” to represent the new forever family they are joining. #adoptionbearhugs
